NHTSA Withdraws Rulemaking on Rearview Mirrors for Commercial Trucks

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has withdrawn its Request for Comments on rearview mirrors for commercial trucks, citing the need for additional research to assess the potential safety benefits of convex mirrors in this application, following a petition from Ms. Barbara Sanford.
