Federal Agency Reconsiders Test Dummy Rule After Petition from First Technology Safety Systems
The US agency has partially granted a petition from First Technology Safety Systems, which challenged a 2004 rule requiring the use of a specific weighted child test dummy, the Hybrid III 6-year-old, in crash tests.
