Summary

The Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service will jointly prepare an Environmental Impact Statement to assess the effects of a proposed phosphate mine and reclamation plan on the environment and local communities. The decision on mine approval and land use authorizations will be made by the BLM Idaho State Director.
