NHTSA Extends Permission for Child Restraint Harnesses on School Buses

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has extended indefinitely the permission for the manufacture of child restraint harnesses that attach to a school bus seat back, following a petition from a child restraint manufacturer. The harnesses must be used only on school bus seats and bear a warning label.
