NHTSA Corrects Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for School Bus Rearview Mirrors

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has corrected a 1995 rule amendment that inadvertently modified the field of view requirements for System A mirrors on school buses, restoring the original language that no longer requires a view of the ground forward of the rear wheels.
