US Insurers Required to File Reports on Motor Vehicle Theft Losses

The proposed amendment to 49 CFR part 544 would require passenger motor vehicle insurers to file reports on their motor vehicle theft loss experiences, with the first reports due by October 25, 2004, and subsequent reports due annually thereafter.
