Notice of Receipt of Petition for Decision That Nonconforming 2000 Cadillac Deville Passenger Cars Are Eligible for Importation

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received a petition to allow the importation of 2000 Cadillac Deville passenger cars manufactured between August 1, 1999, and December 31, 2000, that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards. The NHTSA will consider these vehicles eligible for importation if they are substantially similar to US-certified vehicles and can be modified to meet safety standards.
