NHTSA Denies Porsche's Petition to Reconsider Advanced Air Bag Exemption

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has denied Porsche's request to reconsider its exemption from advanced air bag phase-in requirements, stating that manufacturers who can advance vehicle production do not need the relief provided by the limited line manufacturer exception.
