Temporary Closure of Public Lands for CSXT Rocket Launch Site

Summary

The Civilian Space Exploration Team (CSXT) rocket launch site in Pershing, Washoe, and Humboldt counties, Nevada, will be temporarily closed to the public from September 17th to September 20th, 2002, and September 23rd, 2002, from 7am to 9:30am to ensure public safety during amateur high-altitude rocket launches, which are expected to attract approximately 50 participants.
