NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant 1996-2002 Mercedes Benz E Class Cars

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made the 1996-2002 Mercedes Benz E Class (W210) passenger cars eligible for importation into the US, as they are substantially similar to vehicles originally certified for US sale and can be modified to meet safety standards.
