NHTSA Denies Ford Motor Company Petitions for Reconsideration of Hybrid III and CRABI Test Dummies

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has denied two petitions submitted by Ford Motor Company, which asked the agency to reconsider certain aspects of final rules regarding the design and performance characteristics of the 12-month-old Child Restraint Airbag Interaction (CRABI) dummy and the 3-year-old Hybrid III child dummy.
