NHTSA Sets Fuel Economy Standards for Light Trucks for Model Years 2005-2007
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has finalized corporate average fuel economy standards for light trucks, setting targets of 21.0 miles per gallon for 2005, 21.6 mpg for 2006, and 22.2 mpg for 2007.
