NHTSA Responds to TREAD Act Petitions on Early Warning Reporting Provisions

NHTSA has released a document addressing previously unaddressed issues raised in petitions for reconsideration of a 2002 rule requiring motor vehicle manufacturers to report customer satisfaction campaigns and other activities that may help identify defects related to motor vehicle safety.
