NHTSA Proposes Updates to Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for Controls and Displays

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has proposed a rule to update and expand the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) regulating motor vehicle controls and displays, including the use of symbols for identification and requirements for advanced systems.
