GSA Abandons Printed Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance, Switches to Electronic Distribution
Summary
The US General Services Administration (GSA) has discontinued the printing and distribution of the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA), a move that aligns with the Administration's Electronic-Government initiatives and a shift towards a paper-free environment, as mandated by the Government Paperwork Elimination Act of 1998 and the 1977 and 1983 legislation. The Catalog will now be available electronically through the CFDA Web site on the Internet, accessible at http://www.cfda.gov.
