Suspension of TRICARE-Eligible's Enrollment in the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program

The Office of Personnel Management is issuing an interim rule to allow TRICARE-eligible FEHB Program annuitants and former spouses to temporarily suspend their FEHB enrollments, potentially returning to the program during the annual Open Season or immediately if they lose TRICARE coverage, in order to avoid paying FEHB premiums while maintaining the ability to re-enroll in the future.
