Atlantic Bluefish Commercial Quota Harvested for New York

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced that the Atlantic bluefish commercial quota available to New York has been fully utilized for the remainder of 2001. As a result, vessels with a commercial Federal fisheries permit for the Atlantic bluefish fishery are prohibited from landing Atlantic bluefish in New York until additional quota becomes available through a transfer.
