EPA Finalizes Rule on Pesticide Chemicals Not Requiring Tolerance or Exemption
Summary
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has created a new subpart E in 40 CFR part 180, titled Pesticide Chemicals Not Requiring a Tolerance or an Exemption from a Tolerance, which lists pesticide chemicals that do not need a tolerance or exemption under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). The rule also revokes the unlimited tolerance exemption for Rhodamine B and amends the exemption to limit its use.
