NHTSA Allows Importation of Nonconforming Mercedes Benz CL500 and CL600 Models
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that certain model years of Mercedes Benz CL500 and CL600 passenger cars, originally manufactured outside the US, can be imported into the country due to their substantial similarity to US-certified models and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
