NHTSA Delays Compliance Date for Head Impact Protection in Vehicles Built in Two or More Stages

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has delayed the compliance date for head impact protection in vehicles built in two or more stages until September 1, 2003, to allow for a rulemaking action on petitions requesting modifications to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 201.
