NHTSA Extends Comment Period for Child Restraint System Proposal
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is extending the comment period for a proposal to revise the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for child restraint systems, which would incorporate improved test dummies and updated procedures, until August 1, 2002, to give parties more time to assess the proposal.
