NHTSA Requests Comments on Tentative Decision for Importation of Nonconforming Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking public input on a tentative decision allowing certain vehicles that don't meet all U.S. safety standards to be imported into the country, provided they can be easily modified to comply with those standards.
