Motor Vehicle Safety; Acceleration of Manufacturer's Remedy Program

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has adopted a new regulation requiring motor vehicle and equipment manufacturers to accelerate their remedy programs to address safety defects or noncompliance with Federal safety standards if directed to do so. This rule aims to prevent serious injuries or deaths by expanding replacement parts and authorized repair facilities.
