BLM and Montana to Jointly Amend Oil and Gas Resource Management Plans and Conduct Scoping Meetings

Summary

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the State of Montana will jointly prepare an Oil and Gas Resource Management Plan (RMP) Amendment and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to guide oil and gas decisions in the Powder River and Billings areas, with public input and comment periods scheduled for 2001 and 2002.
