NHTSA Revises Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Interior Trunk Release
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is revising a federal motor vehicle safety standard to exclude certain vehicles and modify the requirements for interior trunk releases on passenger cars with front trunk compartments, in response to petitions for reconsideration filed by four organizations.
