Summary
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is closing the Four Dances Natural Area in Yellowstone County, Montana, to off-highway vehicles, mechanized bicycles, and certain recreational activities starting November 1, 1999, to protect public land and adjacent private property, and ensure public safety. The area will remain closed until a public consultation is completed and an activity plan is approved, but will be open for restricted use as a walk-in area for hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.
