CITES to Stop Issuing Pre-Convention Certificates for Caviar

Summary

The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) will no longer issue or accept pre-Convention certificates for caviar, effective immediately, in an effort to combat wildlife trafficking and protect endangered sturgeon and paddlefish species.
