NHTSA Delays Effective Date of School Bus Body Joint Strength Standard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has delayed the effective date of the final rule amending Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 221, School Bus Body Joint Strength, from May 5, 2000, to May 5, 2001, and also made a technical amendment to correct a technical error in the final rule.
