NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming Rolls Royce Corniche Cars

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced receipt of a petition seeking to allow the importation of 1976-1985 Rolls Royce Corniche passenger cars that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they are substantially similar to compliant US-made vehicles and can be easily modified to meet safety standards.
