Audi A4 Importation Petition Received by NHTSA

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received a petition requesting that 1996-2000 Audi A4 passenger cars, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, be allowed to be imported into the US due to their substantial similarity to previously certified vehicles and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
