BP Exploration (Alaska) Seeks Authorization to Take Marine Mammals for Offshore Oil Platform Construction

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is soliciting public comments on a proposal by BP Exploration (Alaska) to incidentally take small numbers of marine mammals during the construction of an offshore oil platform and subsea pipeline in the Beaufort Sea, between December 1, 1998, and November 30, 1999.
