General Motors Corporation Seeks Exemption from Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Certain Lamps and Equipment

General Motors Corporation has submitted an application to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for a determination that its noncompliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety.
