NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming Land Rover Discoveries

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has accepted a petition from Land Rover owners seeking to import 1994-1998 Land Rover Discovery MPVs that do not meet all federal safety standards, as they are similar to previously imported models and can be modified to comply with US regulations.
