NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 1993-1995 Volkswagen Eurovan MPVs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has accepted a petition from Volkswagen to allow the importation of 1993-1995 Eurovan MPVs that do not meet all federal safety standards, as they are substantially similar to US-certified models and can be modified to comply with regulations.
