Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Occupant Crash Protection: Proposed Upgrade to Air Bag Requirements

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) proposes to upgrade air bag requirements for passenger cars and light trucks to better protect occupants of all sizes in moderate to high speed crashes, while minimizing risks to infants, children, and other occupants in low speed crashes.
