FAA Notified of Proposed Noise Restriction at San Francisco International Airport

The Federal Aviation Administration has been informed by San Francisco International Airport that it plans to modify its Noise Abatement Regulation 4(C) to expand the restricted hours for Stage 2 aircraft operations, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. local time, to 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. local time, in an effort to reduce noise pollution.
