NCUA Amends Regulation for Newly Chartered and Troubled Credit Unions
The NCUA has amended its regulation for newly chartered and troubled credit unions, clarifying the notice period for director and senior officer appointments, and defining a 'troubled' credit union based on the Corporate Risk Information System (CRIS) or CAMEL for state-chartered corporate credit unions. The amendment also requires corporate credit unions to submit notices of changes in officials or senior management to the Director of the Office of Corporate Credit Unions.
