EPA Seeks Public Comments on Pesticide Residue Regulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced the initial filing of pesticide petitions proposing the establishment of regulations for residues of certain pesticide chemicals in or on various food commodities. The public has until October 17, 1997, to submit written comments on the proposed regulations, which can be mailed or submitted in person to the EPA's Office of Pesticides Programs in Washington, D.C. or Arlington, VA, or submitted electronically through the EPA's website.
