NHTSA Proposes Exemption for Lamborghini and Vector from Average Fuel Economy Standard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has proposed granting an exemption to Lamborghini and Vector from the average fuel economy standard of 27.5 miles per gallon for model years 1998 and 1999, and establishing lower alternative standards of 12.4 mpg for these companies.
