The USDA-Forest Service will prepare an environmental impact statement to assess the effects of a proposal to salvage timber and construct helicopter landings in the Panther Creek Watershed, a wild and scenic river system in Idaho, in order to reduce the risk of wildfires and promote natural regeneration of Douglas-fir trees.
