NMFS Issues Incidental Harassment Authorization for Alaska Ferry Terminal Reconstruction Project

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has granted an incidental harassment authorization to the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) to allow for the incidental taking of marine mammals during the reconstruction of the Cold Bay Ferry Terminal in Cold Bay, Alaska, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) as amended.
