NMFS Announces Harvest of Summer Flounder Quota for Rhode Island

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a notification to inform the public that the commercial quota for summer flounder available to Rhode Island has been fully utilized, and vessels with a permit for the summer flounder fishery are prohibited from landing summer flounder in Rhode Island for the remainder of 1996 unless additional quota becomes available through a transfer.
