NHTSA Requests Comments on Tentative Decision for Importation of Noncomplying Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking public comments on a tentative decision allowing certain vehicles that do not meet U.S. safety standards but meet Canadian standards to be imported into the country, with the possibility of modification to meet U.S. standards.
