Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Occupant Crash Protection Extended Comment Period
The U.S. Department of Transportation is extending the comment period on a request to amend the agency's automatic occupant protection standard, which includes testing air bag-equipped vehicles with unbelted and belted dummies, until June 2, 1997, in response to a petition from the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers, Inc.
