NHTSA Amends Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Head Impact Protection

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is revising a motor vehicle safety standard to improve head impact protection for passenger vehicles, allowing manufacturers to carry forward credits for vehicles certified to the new requirements and excluding buses with a gross vehicle weight rating over 8,500 pounds.
