NHTSA Amends Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on Controls and Displays

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has updated the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on motor vehicle controls and displays by removing outdated tables and text, effective for vehicles manufactured before September 1, 1989, as part of its efforts to streamline regulatory language.
