Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards: Proposal to Amend Seat Belt Assemblies Standard
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration proposes to revise the Seat Belt Assemblies Standard to remove a requirement that the lap belt portion of a safety belt system must remain on the pelvis under all conditions, citing that other provisions provide adequate and more enforceable requirements for pelvic restraint.
