NHTSA Allows Importation of Nonconforming 1990-1996 Toyota Landcruiser MPVs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that 1990-1996 Toyota Landcruiser Multi-Purpose Passenger Vehicles, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, can be imported into the United States due to their substantial similarity to vehicles originally manufactured for U.S. sale and certification.
