NHTSA Terminates Rulemaking on Fuel System Integrity Standard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has decided not to amend Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 301, Fuel System Integrity, due to concerns that the potential safety benefits of the proposed change are too small to justify its implementation.
