Summary

The FAA has issued an amendment to Airworthiness Directive (AD) 93-15-02 R2, requiring repetitive inspections and replacements of a pitch trim actuator on Fairchild Aircraft SA226 and SA227 series airplanes, following a failure of a Barber-Colman pitch time actuator on a SA227 series airplane, to prevent loss of control of the airplane.
